Taking Responsibility: Reflections on HIV and AIDS responsiveness in Higher Education

The Higher Education HIV and AIDS Programme (HEAIDS) will host a conference titled -Taking Responsibility: Reflections on HIV and AIDS responsiveness in Higher Education from the 28–30 March 2010 at the Sandton Sun Hotel. The purpose of the conference is to share local and international research findings and good practice in the field of HIV and AIDS and thereby inform and shape the future direction of the sector’s response to HIV and AIDS. In addition to showcasing the sector level research commissioned under the HEAIDS Programme, a call for abstracts will be issued to all public higher education institutions to facilitate presentation of research and good practice undertaken in the field of HIV and AIDS in the thematic areas: curriculum, workplace programmes, prevention and responsive institutional programmes.
