6. Minimum aggregate

The minimum aggregate to qualify for matriculation endorsement shall be 950 marks.

7. Marks excluded from the aggregate

The aggregate is the sum of - the marks obtained by the candidate, except that where the candidate sat the examination in more than six subjects, the aggregate is the sum of -

a. the marks in the best two subjects from Group A of which one must be a First Language and
b. one a university language of instruction; and the marks in the candidate's remaining four best subjects.
