The EU-Summit Summit was successfully held at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology on 10 September 2009. The summit afforded the delegates to engage with critical issues like the EU regulation dealing with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemical substances (REACH) and to explore Africa's regional and security challenges with implications for the implementation of the EU-SA partnership agreement.
