Dr Jeffrey Mabelebele is a Director: Operations and Sector Support at Higher Education South Africa (HESA) since 2009.

Prior to this, he worked for the following public sector organisations for a combined period of 15 years: Human Sciences Research Council (Researcher); and Government Communication and Information System (Director of the Project Office), National Treasury’s Technical Assistance Unit as Director: Knowledge Management.

His research interests include social values, identity and memory. Dr Mabelebele has published widely in accredited and peer reviewed journals. Dr Mabelebele studied at the universities of Limpopo and UNISA.
